This is great opportunity for leaders to come along and have some fun trying out a taster sessions in activities, find out what they need to do to to gain an activity permit to help add value to your own C.V. and, hopefully, your Section programme as well. More details are below, along with some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) We will have County Assessors available to cover a range of “activities” that require permits.
When? Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th October 2025
Where? Paxton Lakes Sailing Club, Haul Road, Lt Paxton PE19 6EY
Times: 10am – 4pm.
Who can come along?
This taster & information day is for ” Leaders” (Team Leaders, Team Members and Lead Volunteers).
It will be great opportunity to try out the activities on offer and find out from the various County Assessors on hand what you need to do to gain an activity permit.
Can I bring my own children? Please see FAQ below.
Try a taster session in: archery, canoeing, and possibly kayaking, dinghy sailing, powerboating and stand up paddleboards

Yes – You MUST, however, for safety reasons bring another adult with you to supervise any accompanying children as we will be unable to take responsibility for them. Activities are only being provided for “adults” to have a go at.
