BTEC Level 2 qualification in Teamwork and Personal Development in the Community

Key information:

Open to new and existing learners. New learners aged 16 to 18 before 01 September 2026 can enrol on the day.

The aim of the day, is for you to be able to achieve a FREE BTEC Level 2 qualification in Teamwork and Personal Development in the Community. This recognised qualification will set you apart when applying to colleges, universities and for jobs.

You will get involved in written work and practical activities designed to challenge and develop your communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Priority will be given to the Cromwell Young Leaders – we will be in touch after the closing date of 16th August to confirm your place.

A few points to note:

  • For those who have completed their Young Leader Belt, DofE or their Diamond challenge badge we can use these as recognised prior learning which means there will be less additional work to complete on the day
  • Please ensure you bring your recognised prior learning with you on the day
  • The YL team lead will ask for your OSM records to be shared before the event
  • This is a fully funded course but we ask you to commit to completing the qualification as it will take the funding away from those who require it
  • If you are not a young leader or do not have any recognised prior learning you can still attend the course but there may be additional units to complete
