There ares lots of ways you can get more involved with Scouts. These include helping as a parent, carer, family member or as someone new to Scouting.

We really appreciate all offers of help whether its just a few hours per year or more frequently. Every extra volunteer helps ensure that more young people gain Skills for Life through Scouting.

County Communications Team opportunities

We are forming a new team of volunteers who, possibly, may be looking to enhance their Uni/College portfolios or work CVs.

Cambridgeshire Scouts’ Communications Team is responsible for supporting communications within the county, raising the profile of scouting locally – including in local districts – and for supporting our digital tools and resources.

We’re looking for volunteers who are willing to share their digital skills and experience with others. Are you:

  • a whiz with Social media, or
  • interested in news collation, or
  • interested in event photography/videography/editing or creating website, or
  • interested in creating website graphics or  managing website (WordPress) content , or
  • willing to support the the County’s or Districts’ MS Office systems, or
  • interested in helping other scouting volunteers familiarise themselves with a new membership management system, new digital tools or making effective use of MS Office.

If so, we would love to have a chat with you.

These are flexible volunteering opportunities.
