Newmarket

Newmarket Scout District includes the town of Newmarket, some of the surrounding town and villages including Soham, Burwell, Bottisham, Balsham, Linton and Abington.

The District has 12 Scout Groups, 2 Explorer Scout Units, 1 Young Leader Unit and 1 Network Unit in multiple locations providing an everyday adventure from the age of 4 to 25 years old.

Around 520 youth members meet weekly in the district, taking take part in a wide range of activities. These young people are supported by an enthusiastic team of around 300 adult volunteers who work together to ensure Scouting is both challenging and fun for the young people and adults alike.
