Alan Sadler, County Chair, is pleased to invite All members of Cambridgeshire Scouts to attend the County’s AGM to held at Over Community Centre (Crafts Hill District);
Date: Wednesday 11 June 2025
Arrival from: 7:10pm
AGM start: 7:30pm.
This is the annual meeting of the Cambridgeshire County Scout Council.
The AGM is structured in accordance with Policy, Organisation and Rules (POR) Autumn 2024.
The Trustees will be seeking your approval to re-adopt the template Constitution provided by The Scout Association.
To help with planning of seating and refreshments, and to inform that the meeting is quorate please register your intention to attend, or give your apology, using the button below which links to Eventbrite.
The evening is an ideal opportunity to attend the business (AGM) part of the evening, ask questions of the County Team and network with others – perhaps in the bar afterwards.
All of the following are members of the County Scout Council, may vote or show approval for agenda items:
- All adult member of Cambridgeshire Scouts with a role in the County
- All District Lead Volunteers from the County,
- All District Youth Leads from the County
- All District Trustee Board Chairs from the County
- All District Treasurers from the County
- Two representatives from each District Scout Council, selected by the District Scout Council at their AGM.
- The Regional Lead Volunteer (in England)
Adult members of Cambridgeshire Scouts not holding a county role may also attend and ask questions of the county team but have no voting rights.

The venue has good links to/from the A14
Teas, coffee and cakes are being provided. The leisure centre bar will also be open.
Dress code: Uniform, if worn
Ample parking is available at this Conference, Community & Sports centre
As the venue will be busy on the evening with its own members using the Sports Centre and/or social facilities, please drive slowly and exercise caution when entering the car park and parking.

Selection process for new Trustees
To comply with The Scout Association’s Policy, Organisation and Rules 5.3.6.4k, the County’s Trustee Board has held an open selection process to choose the new Trustees that the AGM will be asked to appoint. All Trustees will be focussed purely on governance. More details can be found by clicking on the button below
