Scout Network gives opportunities to 18-25 year old’s who have an interest in Scouting, their own personal development and having fun. Many also volunteer with local Groups, Units and Districts in a variety of roles. Scout Network members take part in a variety of activities, which they organise and run themselves under the leadership of a District Scout Network Commissioner and sometimes with the support of a Programme Coordinator.
The Programme is divided into the 3 areas of community, international and adventure. Scout Network members create, organise and participate in events and projects with others – building a team, seeking new challenges and being rewarded along the way.
Some take part in so many adventures they also earn their Queen’s Scout Award, like those in the photos below (although we can’t promise Chief Scout Bear Grylls will be on hand to present it!), Chief Scout Diamond Award and / or Scouts of the World Award
