Frequently Asked Questions
Is catering provided?
A. No. Each Troop needs to provide its own catering arrangements.
Our Group doesn't have a Nights Away Permit holder, can we attend?
A. Yes. You will, however, need to link with another Troop’s Permit holder who is willing to supervise your troop and its pre-camp planning arrangements.
The organisers will be able to advise you of other troops attending from your District
Does each troop need to make their own travel arrangements to/from Boyd Campsite?
A. Yes.
The small organising team are unable to take on organisation of central arranged transport for troops to attend from across the County. Allowing troops to make their own travel arrangements for attendees and kit also helps to keep the camp fee as low as possible.
When will more information be available?
A. More information will be shared here, as soon as details are confirmed
