This weekend 21 Cubs and 7 leaders from 2nd St Neots enjoyed a return to scouting Nights Away, the first time since lockdown.

They enjoyed camping out at the home of 1st Kimbolton, right in the heart of the village. Over the weekend they enjoyed backwoods cooking, pioneering, hiking, jokes around the campfire and even a movie!

Jason Chamberlain (Akela) said “Well after an awesome weekend camp with the 2nd St Neots Cub Packs I can finally put my feet up……….wait no, no I have to work on Monday!”

The event was supported by Hinchingbrooke District’s “Nights Away Support Fund”, set up to encourage and support Sections getting out on Nights Away events.
