You can book for any or all of the modules. For an individual module on Fri/Sat or Sun requests please contact ed.sowells@cambridgeshirescouts.org.uk with details of your requirements after booking for that day. Please read the instructions carefully before booking.
Order confirmation and event reminder will go to the e-mail you enter. Please ensure this is an address for a carer/parent and NOT the address for a young person under 18 years of age.
You will automatically receive an e-mail confirmation containing details of the date and time for which you have booked, but not the module, so check again to make sure you have booked for the module you require.
An automatic e-mail will be sent as a reminder 48 hours before the course is due to start.
You will be informed by email if there are any changes to the planned presentations for any reason.
On the day
The course online is interactive, and theory based for which we highly recommend a minimum of a PC/laptop or tablet is used, and if available, headphones with a built-in mic.
The time stated is the time the modules start, so please aim to log on and check in during the 15 mins before. You will be held in a lobby until the Host lets you in.
Make sure you have paper; a writing implement; and refreshments to hand.
Wearing your scout scarf is optional.
The location
The course will be held on Zoom which you will be able to access using the link and password which will be emailed to you before the event.
Safeguarding
The courses will be presented in accordance with Scout HQ safety guidance. https://www.scouts.org.uk/volunteers/scouts-at-home/taking-scouts-online/staying-safe-online/. There will always be two adults on the training team in the online conference room to ensure safeguarding with password protection to enter the conference, to ensure we are keeping young people safe.
After the course
You will be emailed a certificate of attendance on the course(s) which you can keep with your logbook. If you have not yet received a logbook contact ed.sowells@cambridgeshirescouts.org.uk
