Inter-net, a new event for Scout Network
Inter-net, an awesome event taking place from 23rd to 30th July 2011 at Newbury Showground in Berkshire.
What is Inter-net all about?
Inter-net is being organised by a team of Hampshire based Scout Leaders and members, to celebrate and bring together Scout Networks from around the UK and abroad, for a week-long camping event. To make it unique and a week to remember, the organisers want to try and break as many world records as possible. Imagine breaking the record for the number of people dressed as 'Where's Wally'!!
So why are they telling you about this now?
Inter-net will be officially launched on the weekend of the 20th to 21st March 2010 at Newbury Showground and all Explorers and Network members who will be between 18 and 25 during the week of the main event are invited to participate. The National Launch Party of Inter-net will provide a glimpse of the exciting line up of activities, record breaking attempts and entertainment, for only £10! It will also give you the opportunity to register for the Big One in 2011.
