County AGM 2017

Wednesday 6th September 2017, 7.30pm

The Countryside Centre, Hinchingbrooke Country Park

The Annual General Meeting of Cambridgeshire County Scout Council will take place at the Countryside Centre, Hinchingbrooke Country Park, at 7.30pm on Wednesday 6th September 2017.

All members of the County Scout Council, scouting volunteers and interested parties are welcome to attend.

The AGM will be followed by refreshments.

This new date is due to the low turnout at the original AGM in June, when we were unable to form a quorum.

Nominations are requested for the following elected roles:

  • Elected Members of the County Executive Committee - this year there are six vacancies. Any member or associate member of Cambridgeshire Scouts may stand for election to the County Executive Committee.
  • County Treasurer
  • Nominated Member of the Council of the Scout Association - one person to serve for up to 3 years.
  • Nominated Youth Member of the Council of the Scout Association - one person, aged 18-24, to serve for up to 3 years or until they are 25.

To nominate a person for election to any of these roles, please send their name to Jo McGowan, County Secretary, by 23rd August 2017 - self-nominations are welcome.

If you have any questions on any of the above roles, please contact Ian Weatherall, County Chairman.
