Creative Activities
Creative Activities provides an opportunity for members of The Scout Association to express themselves and thereby produce some form of artistic, Dramatic, Musical, or written experience.
Whilst the population at large recognises Scouting to be an outdoor activity it must be remembered that there are some of our members who are also most interested in the artistic elements of Scouting. It is therefore important that these young people should have the opportunity to take advantage of the Activities available, and this should be encouraged at Group, District and County level.

Marching Bands
Scout and Guide Bands up and down the County take part in International, National and Local fund raising events and also support many Scouting activities. Are there any Leaders or Other interested Adult who would wish to develop this area of Scouting and encourage boys and girls to take up music and banding to enable marching bands to grow and continue to give service and support to the Community and Scouting. The Webb Ivory National Scout and Guide Band Festival 2001 will be held on Sunday 1st July 2001 at the National Hockey Stadium, Milton Keynes.
Concert Bands
From the development of marching bands there has emerged a need for bands to also perform in concert and within Scouting there is a wealth of talent within this area.
National Scout and Guide Symphony Orchestra
The National Scout and Guide Symphony Orchestra is affectionately known as the Best kept Secret in Scouting, we need you to take part, there are places for all sections of the orchestra. Anyone wishing to apply to join in this mid-summer week of music and leisure activities, should make contact as soon as possible.
