We are here to support Scouting in Cromwell District

Gift Aid

Gift Aid is bascially a way to get "free" money from the tax man for your Scout Group, so well worth the effort of making a claim. To help Groups understand the process and get started here are:

a Powerpoint presentation zipped 2007 pptx version or 97-2003 ppt version used at the District Surgery on 7th June 2010 (updated to include some of the questions raised), this includes relevant web links
an example Gift Aid form for families
an example Gift Aid form for "one off" events (such as a fundraising car wash)

One of the questions on the registration forms a Scout Group needs to complete is about a "Constitution". As background please take a look at the following:

It should be sufficient to write "see attached" in the box, and supply a copy of the Scout Group Constitution document (example actual Group Constitution) with the wording suggested at # above.
