Cambridge Scout District comprises 19 Scout Groups and 6 Explorer Scout Units in and around the City of Cambridge. There are currently 1300 young people aged 6 to 25 (boys and girls) that benefit from the Scout programme and Scouting activities. This is delivered by an enthusiastic team of more than 250 adult volunteers.

Scouting in Cambridge is adventure. It provides an opportunity for young people and adult volunteers to develop leadership and team skills through camping, adventurous activities and international travel.

In 2011/2012 Scout Groups in Cambridge ran over 50 camps and expeditions in the UK and Europe and took part in activities include camping, hill walking, canoeing, sailing, mountain biking, climbing, abseiling, shooting and archery.

If you live or work in and around Cambridge, and would like to find out more about getting involved, please get in touch
