Cambridgeshire County Cub Challenge Day
2nd & 3rd October 2010 - Copley Center, St. Ives
Once again we are planning to hold this event for the older cubs. The event is open to Cubs who will be over 9 years on the day and who have not attended the event before.
Whilst some of the bases are yet to be finalised, our aim is that every Cub attending, subject to parental permission, will have a go of each of the following activities during the day:
Canoeing Climbing Wall (Subject to finding instructors)
- Archery
- Orienteering
- Fire lighting & cooking
- Woodwork
- Pioneering
- Surprise Challenge
All events will be run by appropriately qualified instructors/Leaders and are subject to availability due to weather & site conditions on the day of the event. Based on the level of demand experienced in recent years we are planning to hold the event on two days, and you can choose which day you wish to attend.
The event will again be run at the joint centres of Copley and Holt Island and we hope to see some of your Cubs there.
